Spring Equinox Camp 2023

This Camp Session is part of Series of Seasonal Camps & Training known as "Resetting the Clock".

The Spring Equinox and season is a time for more than just doing spring cleaning as it is often referred to as. Spring  is a time for rebirth, renewal and regrowth.

This Spring Equinox Camp will be held for the duration of 72 hrs. and will focus in on a number of activities that are both relevant to the rebirth and renewal of the season, and to the insights and importance of 72 hour preparations better known as "Resetting the Clock".  Combining these two areas of focus and the variety of activities you will be exposed to will provide you with a unique opportunity for your Surthrival Training. 

What to Expect

During this camp participants will not only endure 72 hours in a camp environment but will also experience the structured planning needed to engage that time frame as if in the time of an emergency.  It is important to be aware of how to measure ones time and positioning in order to minimize the loss of a positive mental attitude, to minimize controlable disasters, and to prevent regratable actions, due to a lack thereof.  At the end of this camp session  participants will learn how to effectively create and engage in structured and effective personal 72 hour plans. 

All participant should be expect to :

• Know how to identify the phases of, and have basic responses for Emergency Preparedness & Management.
• Know how to set up seasonal gear and kits - what works for what season and types of conditions.
• Know how and when to bug in or bug out - having a plan of action and protection when home or when traveling.
• Know how to embrace the seasonal time and opportunities for personal development and planning - being capable to realte to or endure the elements and nature. Preparing for the season ahead.
• Know when and how to put together a survival team.
• Know how to put together a personal/family/team survival binder.

Who is this for

This is a perfect time and opportunity for individuals, families and groups serious about their Surthrivability.

No prior experience is needed. Just need to be ready to have a 72 hour camp experience and training.

Appropriate for ages 12 and above. There is no cost for children under 12 year of age.

Please consider the Spring type of weather for all family participants.  Ages and Allergies...

What should you bring

Please consider all of your meals for the duration of your stay along with food preparation and eating items... Participants should have appropriate clothing for expected and unexpected weather conditions. You should have rain gear and change of clothing, boots for the weather and outdoor activities (avoid sneakers unless for in tent use...) 

Bring your own tent and relevant camp gear. The cost of the camp does not cover accommodations.

Additional items and necessities will be discussed in the pre camp meetings.

What will be provided

Upon arrival Participants will receive a booklet and worksheets that can be used during the camps onsite activities and lessons.

In order to find out more about this camp an participation, participants can engage in pre-camp classes that will prepare them for the camp and activities that will take place during the camp.

Cost of the pre-camp classes is free and is included in cost of Camp.
